A registered medical doctor, Emilie Berthet Clairet, practised in the specialist field of bacteriology- human biology- Paris. She moved to Hong Kong in 2008, worked as a dance fitness instructor for a few years and was certified in exercise and sports nutrition. Some health concerns for herself and her children made her experience the benefits of complementary medicines and a more personalised approach to our health. As a result, she decided to pursue her medical practice as a holistic practitioner, focusing on rebalancing lifestyle and diet to keep our body healthy instead of treating diseases when they occur.
Emilie approaches nutrition by not limiting but understanding what you eat and associating physical, emotional, mental and spiritual dimensions to help her patients acquire a healthy lifestyle that best matches their requirements. As both a medical doctor and holistic nutritionist, Emilie promotes a more mindful and comprehensive approach to health. With a specialisation in microbiology, she works more specifically on rebalancing the gut, our “second brain”, helping patients with various chronic medical conditions. She will be soon certified in hypnotherapy to help people work on their relationship with food.
We are now preparing for our future health through diet and habits, and “a healthy habit” is only healthy if you keep it for good. As we are all different, with different genetic backgrounds, understanding our bodies is essential to define what is truly good for us. Emilie understands this and uses her medical and holistic experience to assist each patient, with or without a medical condition, in their future health.
