The words “soul therapy” to me sound so inviting and yet so foreign at the same time. The soul is not a physical thing. You can’t see it, you can’t even describe it. Where does the soul even reside? Depends on who you ask.
For Lena and Safe at Karmabreak, soul therapy means that “living your best life” isn’t just about being physically and mentally healthy (of course those are very important too), but also about filling the cup of your soul with nourishment through deep connection to yourself and others.
In the Soul Therapy retreat, “we guide our guests to achieve the balance between the mind, body and soul. We’ve curated activities and elements that played a part in our journeys to nourish the mind (meditation, journaling), body (yoga, healthy eating) and soul (self-expression workshops, nature immersion) – with the hope to spark your soul to shine a little brighter.”
What is Karmabreak?
” Karma break was born out of a feeling of lacking the space and opportunity to meet new people and foster authentic relationships, beyond the bars & parties scene. The initial idea was to bring different creators in the holistic health and wellness scene together to co-create events that allow people with similar interest in mindful & healthy living to meet and mingle.
Over the years, while this has remained a key element of our gatherings, our mission has evolved along with our own journeys of healing and transformation.
Karmabreak means to take a break from life’s everyday karma, to indulge in self-care and self-discovery.
Through our curated experiences, we aim to create a safe container where one could just unplug from their daily life and drop in to nourish their mind/body/soul while embracing vulnerability as they journey deeper into themselves. At the end of the day, we hope for you to feel more connected, accepted, appreciated, uplifted, expanded, and empowered.”
Who is Karmabreak?
Currently you’ll find two beautiful faces that represent the Karmabreak team.
Lena is one of the original birth mothers (aka co-founders) of Karmabreak. She is passionate about helping people to discover their authenticity and shine proudly in their uniqueness. You can often find her teaching yoga, guiding sound baths or facilitating other mindfulness activities on our retreats.
Safe is Karmabreak’s CFO (Chief Finance and Food Officer) She is a certified health coach who is passionate about food and cooking so in events and retreats, she is responsible for everything related to feeding our guests’ bellies!
Lena and Safe are childhood friends and have known each other for almost 20 years. Whilst having their own unique differences they come together through their yearning to be fully embodied in their true and free self (a continuous work in progress!) and a shared thirst to grow and expand.
What Can Be Expected from the Upcoming Soul Therapy Retreat?
A fun weekend of self-love and self-exploration filled with yoga, wholesome and delicious food, essential oils, sound bath, nature immersion, reflection and journaling, connection circles and deeper exploration through movement, self-expression and intimacy workshops.
How does this retreat differ from others?
” Each of our retreats are actually different from each other. The retreats vary depending on the location, activities and most importantly our (Lena & Safe’s ) inspiration at the time as we find that we’re able to create a safe and honest space that way.
Soul Therapy will be based on the theme of freedom as Koh Phangan is a place where you can come to be truly free. You can be free to think, free to express and free to be who you truly are.”
